Capability Capital Press

The imprint exists because
the argument needs a shelf.

Capability Capital Press is the publishing arm of the Institute. It exists for one reason: the case for treating human capability as an appreciating asset has to be made somewhere it can be argued with, cited, taught, and kept — not only somewhere it can be scrolled past.

What it publishes

A nine-book arc across seven consecutive Januaries, 2027 to 2033. Two foundational volumes, one accounting spine, and six sector handbooks — one for each column of the Bloom table.

Who writes it

Each sector handbook is co-authored with a practitioner who proved the framework in their own industry. Not researchers describing a floor. People who ran one.

How it relates to the essays

The essays are takeout. The books are the multiple-course sit-down dinner. Every argument is tested in public first and the essays stay free — but an essay is one observation. The book is where twenty-six of them are resequenced and welded together, with the connective chapters that turn separate observations into a single case.

The Arc

Nine books.
Seven Januaries. One argument.

Two foundational volumes open the arc. An accounting spine follows. Then one handbook for each sector of the ambit — six columns of the Bloom table, six books, each co-authored with a practitioner who proved the framework on their own floor.
